    Our multi-day Firm Specific Operational Assessment and Analysis (FSOAA) outlines every point of your FOH operations through a detailed evaluation of your teams’ performance. Areas we have termed in our FSOAA consist of the following:

    1. Data Collection, Benchmarking Tools, and Reporting Tasks

    2. Seating and Reservations, Service Workflow, and POS Systems

    3. Human Resources and Staffing, Recruitment and Onboarding, and Training Program Analysis

    4. Health and Safety Compliance, Regulatory Adherence, and Incident Reporting

    5. Guest Experience and Service Quality, Table Standards and Service Sequence, and Issue Recovery

  • 2. Systems and Program Structuring

    The Systems and Program Structuring (SPS) takes all information evaluated in our FSOAA and compiles it into multiple firm and position specific training programs to apply towards current and prospective employees, transforming our information about your firm into applicable advisory mapped out in our service library.

    Through these training programs we develop, you will see shifts in your current programs to accurately guide your operational performance closer to your goals and aimed projections. Areas of adjustment and modification will be dependent on the initial firm assessment and which areas within the assessment we deem accurately executed by the firm. Our sole role as your advisory and consultancy in front of house operations is to position and equip your team with the best possible training in order to meet your goals.

  • 3. Compliance and Performance Audit

    Our Compliance and Performance Audit (CPA) services ensure sustained improvements through anonymous or pre-planned in-house evaluations measuring training program compliance, guest profiling accuracy, and operational efficiency using gathered data from our FSOAA and SPS files. Through this data we measure guest satisfaction, company standings, financial margins, and proprietary checklists that fall under the act and result of our advisory and consulting services.

    Post-assessment and program implementation, we conduct scheduled audits to compare pre, current, and projected data, applying any necessary changes where and when needed.

    Long-term evaluation periods allow SHG to make the most accurate adjustments and implementations to our clients’ operations. We proceed with ongoing termed evaluations conducted monthly, quarterly, or bi-annually.

  • 4. Refinements and Continuing Education

    Continuing education is ongoing with each of our clients. Remaining consistent with any operational improvement reflects the measure of success in hospitality. Our Refinements and Continuing Education (RFCE) services are intensified during product/service changes (e.g., new wine/cocktail menus, functions, systems), addressing identified gaps and adapting programs accordingly.

    We maintain long-term partnerships to support ongoing employee development, ensuring consistent performance and operational excellence. Any staffing adjustments made by your firm will be treated with detail and focus to keep your floor team on track for high success. For any positional changes within your firm, modified files for position transfers will be curated with all relevant information to be evaluated by the in-house operating team prior to implementation.
